Repetition is King

One of the most overestimated aspects of dog training is EFFICIENT REPETITION. The most important reason trained dogs are so noticeably different from one who isn’t as “trained” are the clean reps of each commands done with the most efficient timing of rewards.

That which you do most is that which you do best. When a dog is repeating sit, down, and place hundreds of times a day for weeks (which the average person doesn’t have the time for) they will have a foundation that most dogs do not.

More importantly that which you do not rehearse like chewing furniture, running out of doors, jumping on people, pulling on walks, etc - You will not be so good at. So think about what your dog is doing the most and that is what they will be best at !
